From the hand of a genius of interpretation like Pepe Romero, this is possible and it was clearly perceived in the classes he gave at the José Iturbi Municipal Conservatory in Valencia, as part of the parallel activities of the Alhambra International Guitar Competition.

The fingers are moved by the mind animated by a sensitive heart. There were many profound reflections which he unravelled in each commentary on the works performed by the students. A long and fruitful artistic experience of a Maestro with capital letters which served above all to present the most human and expressive side of the authors.

His simple, close and accurate way of expressing himself dazzled the large group of guitarists who attended his classes. They discovered optics, different visions of music always presided over by intelligence and technique placed at the service of expressiveness, emotion, the true meaning and purpose of art and music.
